1-1/2 c. buttermilk
1-3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortning (or 1/4 c.)

| Heat waffle iorn
Beat eggs
Beat in remaining ingredients untill smooth
Cook about 5 minutes or untill the steam stops. |
