| 3 T. yeast
3 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 tsp salt
6 eggs room temp
13 1/2 c. flour
ICING
Powdered Sugar
Milk
Mapeline/ or vanilla

Instructions |
| Put in a big mixer bowl 3 T. yeast 3 c. warm water Let it bubble. Add: 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. shortening 2 tsp salt 6 eggs room temp 13 1/2 c. flour Mix-- not too stiff--it's a sticky dough. Roll out or twist individual strips. Put melted butter on strips and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Pat some brown sugar on top of that.( Walnuts optional) Cook til barely brown. 8-10 mins at 400 Glaze Powdered sugar,milk, mapeline. Drizzle a thin glaze on rolls while warm. |
